"The bass has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I fell in love with the presence, power and sound of the instrument at a very early age. At age 3, I received a bass on Christmas morning... well, due to my height, it was a half size cello strung with bass guitar strings, but it did the trick and the journey continues..."

He has performed in 14 different countries around the globe and has graced prestigious venues and festivals including The Hollywood Bowl, Chicago Symphony Center, The Newport Jazz Festival, The Monterrey Jazz Festival, The Umbria Jazz Festival, Ravinia Festival and more. Among others, Wynton Marsalis, Joey Alexander, The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Marc Cary, Chase Baird, Brad Mehldau, Jeff "Tain" Watts, Jon Batiste, Beka Gochiashvili, Antonio Sanchez, Ulysses Owens Jr., Nir Felder, Etienne Charles, Camille Bertault, Mike Moreno, Bryan Carter, Eric Harland, and Carl Allen and The New York Jazz Symposium. He leads, performs with and composes for his own group, Four by Four: Jazz Quartet meets String Quartet.
