At age 3, I received a bass on Christmas morning... well, due to my height, it was a half size cello strung with bass guitar strings, but it did the trick and the journey continues..."

Dan is a regularly performing bassist located in New York City. He has performed in 12 different countries and has graced prestigious venues and festivals including The Hollywood Bowl, Chicago Symphony Center, The Newport Jazz Festival, The Monterrey Jazz Festival, The Umbria Jazz Festival, Ravinia Festival and many more. Among others, he has performed/recorded with Joey Alexander, Wynton Marsalis, The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Brad Mehldau, Jeff "Tain" Watts, Jon Batiste, Marc Cary, Beka Gochiashvili, Antonio Sanchez, Nir Felder, Etienne Charles, Camille Bertault, Mike Moreno, Rodney Green, Bryan Carter, Eric Harland, Sammy Miller and the Congregation, Ulysses Owens Jr., The Kyle Athayde Dance Party, The Adison Evans Quintet, Steve Wilson, Carl Allen and The New York Jazz Symposium. He leads, performs with and composes for his own group, Four by Four: Jazz Quartet meets String Quartet.
